Nice, fantastic staff with smiling face. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the economy double room, plus a laptop-compatible safe, central heating, and a work desk. Amazing views of the mountains all around. Good pool, parking on-site...

Without the nonsense of screensavers and time restrictions of the hoteluchos of the coast.

We liked very much the treatment received by the hotel managers, very friendly couple and willing to face the customer, as well as by the waiter of the restaurant, very nice and willing person with dedication to the customer. wonderful room, duplex suite with whirlpool bath and mountain views. Spectacular. We were in half board and dinner very correct, well prepared dishes of mountain cuisine. breakfast was also very good, with a lot of variety. Everything spectacular and we hope to repeat in short!
We missed some kind of manual for the use of the hot tub, which we could not get working the first night. To find some negative point, to have dinner with children and young people that generated a lot of noise disturbed a little bit the calm and relaxation of our weekend. As a point to improve, it would be good to include more plugs in the room, next to the bed.

The hotel is fine. Practical and functional. The rooms are comfortable. Cleanliness is good.
hotel is run by a nasty, unpleasant man who is usually at the front desk. I'm not sure but a four star hotel should have 24 hour uninterrupted attention at the front desk. I arrived in Barcelona I called to say that I was starting my road trip at 09:15 and that I was late. man told me that he would make the trip in three hours. I made it in five hours. I arrived I woke up this man and he treated me unpleasantly, getting angry for being late. I have to say that it is impossible to make this trip in three hours, at least complying with traffic regulations, speed limits, etc. few days later he got into the education instructions I gave my children to close their ski boots, claiming that they were not deformed and to leave them open. It doesn't matter who's right. man can't go where he's not wanted, on another occasion the light went out in the room and he said on the phone that it was because we were connecting things that we shouldn't be connecting. No doubt he's psychic since all we did was plug in the dryer??? I like to be treated well. It's part of choosing a good hotel: clean rooms. location, food, etc, It's a pity that this gentleman doesn't reconsider his attitude since the hotel is fine and rest of the staff is very friendly. Special mention to the lady who runs the cafeteria.

The location would have been satisfactory but this hotel should never be advertised as a 4 star with full facilities.
We arrived on a wet evening in November. No greeting - rather regarded as a nuisance! No food available . We were not informed of this and, had we been, we would not have used this hotel. We had travelled a long way and did not appreciate having to drive out in the evening. The room contained no toiletries apart from 1 very tiny bar of soap! As we state - a 4 star run on a " shoestring". Booking .com are not giving a fair description as to what is on offer.

The place was very clean, and confortable
You needed a car to move around, there were buses to the closest town, but they were not very frequent

Breakfast was was not Too good certain items were stale. And the weighty guy who served us was somewhat sullen.

I recently stayed at Hotel & Restaurante Pena for a weekend getaway. The manager, Javier, was incredibly warm and welcoming, even wishing me a happy birthday and offering a discount for my next stay. The location was great, just off the main road, with convenient parking. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had beautiful views of the river and mountains. The staff was helpful and kind, making us feel like friends rather than guests. The amenities like the gym, sauna, pool, and games room added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.
Totally recommend this hotel.
